Good afternoon. The House Education and Workforce Committee is about to complete action on the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act. We believe it is important that they hear a final burst of support for the Perkins Loan Program. Please look at the attached list of the Committee members and call any from your state today or Monday to let them know that the Perkins Loan Program is essential to higher education in their Congressional District and state. Without the Perkins Loan Program thousands of students will lose funding.

Also, if you call today, ask them to sign the letter being circulated by Representatives Cuellar and Lowey in support of the program. The final day for signing this letter is today!

It is time for a final push in the House. Please act!
